Always wanted to learn how to make your own Mead?

Learn the craft with mead maker Steve Walker.

You'll learn all about:

  • The different types of meads.
  • Importance of cleaning / hygiene
  • Recipe and the processes
  • Making a yeast starter
  • Aerating the Must
  • Pitching the Yeast
  • Adding staggered nutrient additions during fermentation
  • Bottling and relax (have a homebrew mead)

Included is:

  • 25 or 30 Litre Fully Fitted Fermenter (Size subject to availability)
  • 35g Yeast Sachet (Dry Aromatic White Wine)
  • 25g Yeast Nutrient
  • 500g Steriliser
  • Blue Bottler
  • Hydrometer
  • Long handle Spoon or Flat mixer
  • Bottle Capper (Manual hammer on type)
  • Stick on Thermometer (For outside of Fermenter)
  • Thermometer (thin glass "mercury")
  • Bottle Brush
  • Plus the course handout notes with three recipes.
